Pros: Value and Service
Cons: None
Was in town Thu-Sun, for the TX-OU game & was recommemded to NyLo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are seasoned travelers and this is a boutique hotel that caters to an urban, trend-setting crowd. But there was a mix of visitors, due to the game.
Performed due diligence on this hotel and our expectations were exceeded. Stayed on 4th floor (not facing pool). No noise issue; couldn't hear neither club music nor other guests above our room or on our floor.
This was the first time staying in a 'loft-style' room; having been to NYC, the room size was as expected, as were other items mentioned as a negative to others, but remember that it is a loft room; I suggest to research any establishment before staying.
We dined at the Loft Restaurant, Sat nite and was served by Elizabeth. Her recommendations were on point. We highly suggest her table(s) for dinner any night. She described the amenities of the hotel and arranged for us to take a tour with an onsite manager (can't recall his name; yet he was extremely knowledgeable on NyLo, as well as other hotels we've stayed in the U.S.)
As far as the club; it seems to be a local favorite, attracting a young, urban crowd, that was not rowdy; actually quite pleasant groups. The music that Sat night was a healthy mix of all genres.
Overall, a very pleasant, friendly staff (check-in, housekeeping, and security) and would definitely return again.
Thanks to the entire NyLo Team
