ENDLESS SUMMER - SUNDAY DRIVERSThe guitar becomes a synth. The bass becomes a guitar. And the synth becomes a bass. The Los Angeles based trio seems to have a knack for doing things their own way; to pursue the collective vision of the band, even if it defies all reason. Brady Erickson, guitarist and vocalist of the band met bass player Marisa Dupuis on a double date. Searching for that last element, they added (through MySpace, of course) a friend of a friend, Bryan Zaebst, on drums. On May 8, 2007 Sunday Drivers saw the release of their first effort, the Archetypes EP. The band is continuing to create ways to further push the boundaries. |

HERO - LETTIEA classically trained pianist and sometime flute, guitar, harmonica, casio, loop, zither player and composer,Lettie has gigged under many different names and disguises from Glasgow to London on her own or incollaboration playing venues such as the Borderline, Garage, Water Rats. She has featured on Student radioand MTV. Her influences are very varied and extremely open but she mainly enjoys minimalistic, hyptonic, catchy, melodic, colourful music. She searches for unknown superheros, plays musical chairs in the sand, gets burnt. It's all about the macabre and bizarre and the great nostalgia trip, the old photographs andhistory that make up this place that you sit in and watch go by slowly before it's faded and then gone. lettiemusic.com myspace.com/lettiemusic |
